This was a lot to deal with. John knew he needed to speak with Melissa before he spoke to Stiles. His son could be incredibly bullheaded sometimes... often... frequently, whatever.
"Of course," he said, nodding. "I'll.. uh.. we'll take him to our place tonight." It didn't seem right to impose on the vet any more than they already had. "Would you see that he gets these? I should really go speak with Melissa."

Gabe almost protested but then he stopped himself. With a grateful smile, he takes the piece left to him. "Thank you, Mommy." He remembers the conversation he was having with Deaton before Stiles showed up. He hopped up and went over to the drawer with the silverware. "Did you know Deaton has spoons and stuff that used to belong to Uncle Derek and his sister?" He showed the Ninja Turtles spoon to Stiles.
