Scott was back shortly and saw Stiles had disappeared under the blankets.
He snickered a bit as he pulled the blankets off. "Hey, just take some
pills and you can go right back asleep," he promised. He was surprised
Gabe was as tired as he was acting. As far as he knew, the boy hadn't been
injured or anything. In some ways Gabe was just taking advantage of having
all this one on one time with his mommy. It wasn't often he got this
cuddle time so he was soaking it up. In addition to that, the emotional
drain of finding himself alone and all the other weird things that had
happened had taken more energy than Scott was realizing.
Even with that, he wouldn't be able to sleep through the night if he kept
napping. Even if Scott was technically his parent in the future, he didn't
know how to parent right now. So he just let Gabe do what he was doing.
"Try to finish the water," Scott urged. "I don't want you dehydrated."
