AU: Scott/ Stiles/ Gabriel
No one knows why half the things in Beacon Hills happen. It's not exactly something they like to put on tour guides advertising the place.
Scott had gone to work right after his class, which left Stiles to drive home on his own. He would've been able to leave sooner but he'd gotten detention. This one had been totally Scott's fault and he'd apologized at lunch, but he hadn't been able to get Stiles out of it. So when Stiles left the school building there wasn't too many around. Just as he was reaching the parking lot, a bright white flash blinded him for a moment. There was a thud and a groan of pain and then everything went right back to normal. Except now there was a blonde kid laying on the ground not ten yards from him. He was still and unconscious, but there was something remarkably familiar about his face. He wore a coat and scarf, even though it was May and he had he didn't have anything with him besides that.

"Yes," Scott stopped and came back over to him. He tried to read his expression, but couldn't really. So he just wrapped him in a hug. "It doesn't make you weak or anything to rest. As soon as I get Peanut set up, I'll probably join you."
And holding Stiles felt really nice all of a sudden. He didn't really want to let him go, but he felt awkward about it, so he did.

Scott had an urge to pursue that kiss on the cheek, but he stopped himself. They were still confused about what they were and what was happening. He was thinking about it when Stiles mentioned the alarm. Looking at his friend confused, he asked, "An alarm for what?"
In his sleep, Gabe became aware of a warm body next to him so he rolled closer. He wanted a puppy pile, but a mommy pile would be even better.

"So I can wake up to take my meds, Scotty," he tells him with a bit of a chuckle. Though he smiles a bit Gabe gravitates more towards him. He hadn't been expecting that at all.

Scott watched the little boy snuggle up and found himself immobile for a few moments. It was so sweet, he could barely handle it. Finally he snapped out of it. "Yeah.. medicine. Got it." He started to leave before he realized that wasn't enough information. "When do you need it set for?"

It isn't too long though before he was comfortably perched against the wall next to the cardboard box and nodding off. He wanted to watch over everyone and that was the best spot for it. Plus he could keep his hand in the box so the puppy didn't feel lonely. Gabriel was very comfortable against Stiles so he didn't stir for a long time.

The alarm suddenly goes off getting an annoyed grunt from Scott. He hadn't planned on dozing off, but clearly he had. Looking down, the puppy was sleeping right on his hand, so he moved trying not to disturb it. It isn't successful as the sound of the alarm wakes both Peanut and Gabriel after a few moments.
"Sorry guys," Scott said in a hushed tone and shut it off. Petting Peanut, he then left to get Stiles a cup of water. While he's gone, Gabe looked at Stiles and snuggled close again. He wanted to stay here there attached to his mommy's hip.

Scott was back shortly and saw Stiles had disappeared under the blankets. He snickered a bit as he pulled the blankets off. "Hey, just take some pills and you can go right back asleep," he promised. He was surprised Gabe was as tired as he was acting. As far as he knew, the boy hadn't been injured or anything. In some ways Gabe was just taking advantage of having all this one on one time with his mommy. It wasn't often he got this cuddle time so he was soaking it up. In addition to that, the emotional drain of finding himself alone and all the other weird things that had happened had taken more energy than Scott was realizing.
Even with that, he wouldn't be able to sleep through the night if he kept napping. Even if Scott was technically his parent in the future, he didn't know how to parent right now. So he just let Gabe do what he was doing. "Try to finish the water," Scott urged. "I don't want you dehydrated."

Scott was surprised by the question. He hadn't planned on it but now that it was an option he couldn't think of anything he'd rather do. "Yeah, scoot over," he said, slipping in behind Stiles. Putting his arms around Stiles, he wondered idly how to get Gabe to find something else to do.

Gabe was being clingy but besides that fine. He dozed with them for a little longer before quietly slipping out to find the bathroom. Shyly he then went cautiously to the kitchen to find food. Finding a bowl of fruit on the counter he helped himself to a banana, orange and apple- one of each that was there.
Scott was following Gabe with his senses while never leaving the bed. When he hears the music for Mario he knew he had Stiles to himself for awhile.

If Gabe hadn't gone to the bathroom he might've come right back thinking Stiles was talking to him. It was tricky dealing with multiple people with supernatural hearing.
Scott grinned when Stiles leaned back against him. "Hey," he answered, pressing his face against his hair. He loved the way Stiles smelled. "How are you feeling?"

Scott didn't realize he was scenting Stiles. He was just noticing the scent for the hundredth time and enjoying it. Just as his nose brushed lightly against Stiles' ear, he drew back. It had tickled his nose.
"Our kid's already found food, but I can make us something if you'd like," he offered. It would be something from a box like hamburger helper or mac and cheese or eggs. He didn't cook very well.

Scott had several other ideas but he didn't voice them. He knew Stiles was tired and needed food.
"Okay, I'll bring you a plate. Do you want anything specific?"

Stiles watches his best friend for a moment, giving him a smile even as he leans into him. Not really wanting Scott to get up yet," Mac & cheese?"

"That sounds good, yeah," he said. He was about to get up when he found himself just looking back at Stiles. "Or I could stay a little longer. He's found Super Mario World."
no subject
"Mmm... well, we don't exactly have to get up and eat just yet," he states with a bit of a smile. "You could stay laying here with me for a while longer," Stiles tells him. "If he's found that then he's going to be at it for a while probably."
