Gabe watched Deaton go and wondered why he didn't stay. Deaton was family as far as he knew. On the other hand, when did he get one on one time with Mommy? Hardly ever.

He looked at the pills and then back at Stiles. "Want something to drink to take your medicine?" He asked. He didn't know where the cups were but he could use his own. There was still some juice in it.

Stiles wasn't sure what he needed with the meds but he picks the bottle up and cants his head slightly, looking at it. "That would be awesome, big guy." Though if he needs to get up to get a cup he can do that. "You don't have to get it for me though, Gabriel." He knew, or thought he remembered, where most of everything was.

"I don't mind," Gabriel said, bounding out of his seat. He had a nervous energy going on that he didn't know what to do with. There was still a need to continue making a good impression on Stiles and he was trying not to think too much about the situation he was in. He was lost in time and that was so bizarre and scary.

He checked a couple cupboards before finding a glass and then getting some water. Bringing it back, he then decided to bring the finished breakfast dishes over to the sink.

He watches this kid that was his and Scott's, smiling a bit. The boy reminded him so much of them it wasn't funny. He opens the meds taking out two pills and then the water, downing half of it with them.

"We'll have to get some things your puppy," he says, leaning back in his seat. However, he notices the nervousness but probably because of how he is sometimes. "So what do you normally do for fun, Gabe?"

"Yeah? Deaton says Peanut can't go outside. Think we can find him a jacket?" Gabe asked. Laura would've smacked him if he tried to put clothes on her dog, but Peanut was his. He could put hats and whatever else he wanted on the dog.

"Uh.. " Gabe thought for a moment. "I like flowers and animals. I don't know. I sometimes paint but I'm not as goods as my sisters. What do you do?"

He knew Stiles was different since he was in high school still. He knew what his Mommy did but the time difference might have different answers.

"I don't know if they make jackets for puppies," he tells him. "We can talk to Deaton and see if they make sweaters for them though. That way it'll keep the little guy warm." Hey, he didn't see a problem with clothes on the dog. Well, as long as it wasn't excessive anyway.

"That's pretty cool. Do they both paint?" He asks with a smile. "Me? I just play lacrosse. Though I end up on the bench a lot." Because coach was stupid and didn't want him out there. "But I'm not all that good at it. Your daddy is though."

If the pet wasn't being hurt in any way, it was harmless. The puppy could look silly but fortunately dogs didn't have issues with self-esteem like people do. All they care about is someone who loves them, feeds them, and gives them attention.

"Well.. not Dia. She sketches with a pencil but Ally does, yeah. She let's me use some of her stuff sometimes." He frowned at hearing Stiles was on the bench. "They should let you play. It's fun to play."

"I'm glad that you've got siblings who let you interact with them," he says with a smile. "I've never actually had any of my own unless I count Scott." There's a hint of amusement to his voice. "Trust me, big guy, once I get better at it Coach is bound to let me play. I just have to be better first."

Gabe sometimes wished there were fewer kids, but he didn't think he could enjoy being an only child. That sounded too lonely to him. He wasn't sure what else to say but they get interrupted by Peanut whining for another bottle. Gabe gets excited about giving it to the puppy and lets Deaton show him how again.

Across town John talks things over with Melissa and they agree Gabriel would be best with Stiles unless Stiles doesn't agree.

Stiles gets up from where he's at and watches Deaton. Watches him get the bottle ready before handing it to Gabriel and showing him how to hold Peanut while feeding him. "Bet by the time he gets older he's going to be nice and strong."

Gabe smiled. He was glad his mistake earlier wouldn't hurt his puppy. Stiles didn't know that had happened but Deaton said he should be okay.

"Is uncle Ethan busy?" He asked. He was used to all the family living close by. It was weird not having his siblings around.

John sent a text to Stiles. 'Okay with Kid staying with us?'

"Uncle Ethan?" Stiles asks moving to the couch and sitting down. "I don't know any Ethans." Not that he's aware of anyway. When Scott's phone gets a text it nearly startles the hell out of him. Why in the world...

He looks at the text and smiles seeing it. Perfectly fine with that, dad. We'll have to get things for the puppy on the way home though.

John groaned. Now they were stuck with a dog too?

'Can't Deaton keep the dog?'

"Yeah, you know.., Ethan," he said with a frown. "Aiden?" Gabe didn't like that no one understood the world where he was from.

No, Deaton can't keep the dog. It's Gabe's dog, dad.

He gives a bit of a frown of his own," We don't know an Ethan and Aiden, buddy. Are they someone that we know in your time?" Hey, he was curious about the future and what happens in it. Or more like all the people in it.

"Yeah, they're family," Gabe explained. He didn't know the story of how and when the twins came into the family. He just trusted that they were. "Me, Ally, Laura, Dia, Caleb, Myles, Junior, Mamaw, Papaw, Grandpa Deaton, Grandpa Chris, Uncle Derek, Uncle Ethan, Uncle Aiden, Uncle Isaac and uh.." He frowned, unsure if he forgot someone. He goes back through it in his head but still looks confused. "Oh.. you and Daddy."

John was really not pleased about this. Fortunately he had Melissa nearby to complain to.

Stiles dutifully listens to his son and frowns slightly," Where's Allison in all of that, buddy?" After all, Isaac was there and people he didn't even know along with some that he obviously did. But he didn't hear anything mentioned of Allison Argent and wasn't sure why.

Luckily for John, Melissa gladly sits and listens to him complain.

Gabriel echoed that frown. He held his puppy a little tighter. Glancing around for Deaton, he didn't see him. You weren't supposed to lie to Mommy but he didn't want to tell the truth either. "Uh.., she's um..." He floundered thinking of a way to answer that.

"She's what, Gabe?" He asks that frown deepening a bit. Something didn't feel right and he didn't like it.

Gabe pouted. He didn't want to say it! "I don't know the whole story but I know she got killed by some monster thing," he finally said timidly. He braced for the reaction.

That frowns deepens and he shakes his head, running his fingers through his hair. Allison's become a part of their little group and he can't picture them letting anything... He gives the young McCall a smile," Thank you for telling me, Gabriel."

"You're not mad?" He asked. He'd been afraid Stiles would be. A part of him wished now he did know the story so he could share it but his parents had wisely kept the scary details from their young kids.

Myles had asked and gotten the full story but he was older.

"No, I'm not mad," he says giving Gabriel a smile. He's not going to be upset over something like that. The young McCall had no control over anything that happened in the future. Hell, it was obvious that him and Scott tried to protect their kids from it.

"You're going to be staying with me and dad."

"Okay," Gabe said. He thought Stiles meant dad as in daddy, but it didn't really matter. He was too happy that Stiles liked him! "Does Peanut get to- Daddy!"

Gabe's attention jerked from Stiles to the door. His ears had noticed the bike but his nose knew that scent anywhere!
