AU: Scott/ Stiles/ Gabriel
No one knows why half the things in Beacon Hills happen. It's not exactly something they like to put on tour guides advertising the place.
Scott had gone to work right after his class, which left Stiles to drive home on his own. He would've been able to leave sooner but he'd gotten detention. This one had been totally Scott's fault and he'd apologized at lunch, but he hadn't been able to get Stiles out of it. So when Stiles left the school building there wasn't too many around. Just as he was reaching the parking lot, a bright white flash blinded him for a moment. There was a thud and a groan of pain and then everything went right back to normal. Except now there was a blonde kid laying on the ground not ten yards from him. He was still and unconscious, but there was something remarkably familiar about his face. He wore a coat and scarf, even though it was May and he had he didn't have anything with him besides that.

"Now where exactly is Deaton's house?"
~~
Gabriel took a bite of sausage and nodded. "Yeah. That's how they have Bella." He looked at Deaton, finally a little confused over what the vet was missing. "She's two in three weeks. We're having a party and cake and stuff."
no subject
Stiles frowns when his dad does that. So he goes a bit quiet instead. He planned to stay at Deaton's for a bit. After a moment he gives his dad the address to the vet's place.
~~
It wasn't uncommon for two werewolves to have a human child. He can't help but smile though," I bet she's a handful. If you want I can help you pick something out for her. What does she like?"
no subject
Fortunately it didn't take long to get to the house.
~~
Gabe looked at Deaton interested in this idea. "Like what kind of stuff? Like the princess fork?" He wasn't sure what Bella was into besides.. "She likes bubbles!"
no subject
Hell, Stiles was afraid to ask about the jeep. He didn't want to worry his dad, but he didn't want to be stuck in one spot either. That just sucked. But he hasn't said much since he told his dad where Deaton lived.
~~
Deaton dutifully listens," We'll have to get her scented bubbles then. Along with bath bubbles."

Deaton smiles," They released him early so it probably is. We just have to keep him sitting down taking it easy. You want to make him a plate? I bet he's hungry."
no subject
While Deaton's gone, Gabe can't find the plates so he just pushes his plate over to an empty spot. He likes to share.
no subject
Stiles looks over at his dad and gives a bit of a shrug," From 1 to what?" Though really he couldn't give his dad too much of a hard time," Right now? Right now a six but I'll live."
no subject
John sighed. "I'll try to hurry back," he said, feeling bad that Stiles was hurting. When Deaton answered the door, he greeted the vet warmly.
no subject
Stiles gives a bit of a nod and kisses his dad's cheek before heading inside, moving over to the table," Hey."
no subject
"Hi," he said softly, but he found himself unable to move closer to the table. He just watched Stiles from where he was.
no subject
Stiles wasn't trying to give Gabe issues or make him think that he didn't like the kid. However, he didn't actually know him. So when he does finally sit down he can't help but give the younger McCall a warm smile. "Hi."
Sitting down was better than standing up any day," Why don't you sit down with me and tell me all about yourself." Things that his older self would already know, but he wasn't his older self.
no subject
The invitation finally brought him to move cautiously from the wall to the table. He noticed Stiles hadn't sat down at the spot with the plate so he timidly pushed it closer to him. "Are you hungry?" He asked. The plate had obviously already been eaten off of. There was still plenty left though.
no subject
If Stiles had known about the insecurities he'd of probably been upset. Not at Gabriel, obviously, but at those that made him feel insecure. He may not know the kid that was sitting at the table with him but deep down he knows he'd take on the world for any child of his.
"Starving. Hospital food sucks," Stiles says with a chuckle. Though when the plate is pushed towards him he gives a small smile," If that's your food, big guy, then you should finish it."
no subject
Gabe smiled sheepishly. "But I made the eggs and there aren't any more," he explained. "Can we share?"
no subject
"We can share, I don't mind. Tell me a little about you, Gabe." Though he's curious," How many kids do we have?"
no subject
"I have a green and yellow parakeet named Gus from the mouse in Cinderella. But now I have Peanut, he's over there." Guess who just got a new puppy without asking? It was almost visible how Gabe would look as a puppy wagging his tail like crazy, just so happy his mom was there.
no subject
"The parakeet isn't afraid with wolves in the house?" he asks, honestly curious. Though he looks over at the little runt and smiles before looking at Gabriel," Those the only animals we have at home?"
no subject
"Isaac," he answered about Derek's daughter. "He wants more though." He shook his head about the pets. "No, Laura just got a puppy it's got black and brown. Junior has a turtle but you're not supposed to know that." Then he frowns, realizing he just tattled. "Don't tell him I told you, okay?"
no subject
"Why wasn't I supposed to know about the turtle?"
no subject
The part about the turtle had him giving him a blank look. "I don't know." Junior had just told him not to. "It's in a shoebox?"
no subject
"Do you know where he found the turtle?"
no subject
"In the woods by the creek. He likes fishing and his frog died," he said. "I don't think you know about the frog either. But no, my bird is okay because you helped me pick it out." Basically Junior just liked catching random things and keeping them as pets for a while. He and Ron Weasley had some things in common.
no subject
He shakes his head and just eats but makes sure that Gabe eats some more too," Well, animals like that live in the wild. If he wants one he should ask. I wouldn't say no to it. I've always wanted an animal growing up."
no subject
Gabe shrank just a bit back. He didn't want to argue with Stiles, so he didn't. However, the idea of Mommy being okay with a bunch of pets might change once there were seven children to contend with. Myles was at least half the stress by himself. Either way, Gabriel didn't have a say in it. He was just trying to stay invisible as much as he could.
